To be fair - difficult though that is in this case! - I understand that one isn't a IE hole as such, but in the libraries installed by Windows XP / MS Office / several other products.

So my home PC has Windows 2000 and IE6, but doesn't have MS Office and, according to Windows Update anyway, doesn't need the JPEG rendering patches.
