This latest worm means our BT Openwoe connection is spending most of its time carrying attempts to infect us rather than our traffic.

Fortunately, ZoneAlarm laughs at their feeble efforts, and I've kept the PCs up to date with 'Oh I suppose we better fix this one, even though it should never have been there in the first place, still we've got their money now...' patches from Microsoft.

If I send the ip addresses to the relevant ISPs, is anything going to happen, do you think?

I've tried it...

But just think -

There is Netsky, Beagle and Sasser... Its a busy time tracking down IP address'.

I know I'm tempted to throw the towel in atm - and its part of my company job to track down the idiots who are infected!!!

Agh, that will be my problem too. I expect my debian server firewall will be blocking it, if I check the log. I'm going to switch to Zen in the very near future.
