I've been told that there's a difference between the kind of peanut butter you get in the UK and the American stuff that I eat.

Perhaps that's the trick?

One of the few things I think my ex and I would agree on. *shudder* horrible stuff... I hate the smell of it nevermind the taste/texture.

Strangely I do quite like peanuts, but am weird about most other nutty things, I hate almonds and walnuts and avoid food with them in *eww*.

You can use it to make a very nice peanut soup, but apart from that... it's poo.

It varies here from quite-a-bit-of-oil-and-other-stuff-too to 99.9% peanut, 'crunchy' and 'smooth'.

Although it's certainly not as healthy as the other stuff, I find the cheaper, less healthy brands to be much tastier here. My personal favorite is Skippy with Honey in it.

I'm not sure how customs would feel, but I'd be happy to send you some good, American peanut butter.

And you know...this comment hasn't appeared in my inbox. Really sketchy with the comment notifications lately-I thought it was just cause I'd changed e-mail addresses, but I don't know if that's it.

Besides, Marmite and Vegemite are much, much nastier than peanut butter.
