PHP formmail sought

What do people use for this?

It must

a) work - this rules out www.dtheatre.com/scripts/formmail.php, the first google hit for 'PHP formmail'.

b) be secure - I'd prefer to set the destination for email in the script, not the form, for example.

c) not have too much crap attached - a 150k script for this is silly.

d) not insist on people giving an email address when they submit the form - I've hacked http://cgi-central.net/scripts/aformmail/ so it doesn't, but if people have one where I don't need to do so, then...

e) not be in a .zip file that neither pkunzip or winzip can extract from!

what do you actually *need*, ie is this just for feedback to you? is it to enable the website user to send an email to (anyone)?, etc.

On my sites I use a micture of cgi equivalents or the standard PHP 'mail' instruction (bool mail ( string to, string subject, string message [, string additional_headers [, string additional_parameters]] )) dependent on the actual need.

It's for emailing the results of questionnaires. They'll always be to the same domain, usually the same address. Sometimes some validation will be needed (are fields expecting only digits, digits only? etc), sometimes not.

I hadn't considered sticking some PHP in the page. Hmm.
