Quick catch up
Jun. 10th, 2011 02:47 pmFor both all of you who don't read the film review blog, I've started a countdown of the films of John Carpenter, going from the worst to the best. It's now at the first of the ones you could actually want to watch.
One of the reasons for watching things is doing sorting prior to moving. It's surprising how much it hurts to say goodbye to some computing books, even though they've been unused for years. It may still be my favourite editor, but a) I haven't used it for ages, and b) I am never going to do macro programming in Borland Sprint again. Similarly, I still use a Borland Pascal-compatible compiler, but I don't need the Turbo Pascal 1.0 manual. Or a few Turbo Pascal 5/5.5/6/7 books. Or virtually all of the others. But still, ouch.
