A day at the cinema, part two

I saw the play years ago (early 90s?) at The Bush. Very dark thriller, with a darker sense of humour. So I was delighted to see a trailer for the film version a few weeks ago, and even more delighted to report that it's rather good. And that the joke that opened the second half is there.
It's got a shockingly limited release - is the presumed audience too young to know about The Exorcist and The French Connection? - but is highly recommended if violence and family being very, very horrible are not triggers.
