There are roughly four billion IPv4 addresses, especially if you ignore the ones reserved for private networks. For the past couple of months, I've had four of them, with two sets of two servers at different providers as I move things from one to the other.

But tomorrow, one address is being given up to be reallocated to another client, with its sibling following a couple of weeks later.

The service with the old provider has been great, and it came as a bit of a surprise to realise that I have been with them for five years, but the new provider is a third the cost.
