Dual platforming Mozilla Thunderbird

If they are somewhere both Windows and Linux can see, are there any problems in getting TB/Win and TB/Linux to share the same data files (i.e. mailboxes etc)?

IMAP or POP3? I have no problem with TB/Win and TB/Mac, but that's on IMAP. And perlmonger uses TB/Linux onto one of the same mailboxen.

with POP3, I would thinks bets are off ..

Hmm, POP3 would be my preferred way of doing it because my 'mailing list' email address doesn't do IMAP.

There're hardly any messages in the mailboxes, so I'll give it a go, I think. If it works with IMAP, it suggests there's no EoL character(s) silliness going on.
