lovingbothI have a Linksys WRT54GS router at home, in part because you can run alternative firmware on it which makes it much more powerful than Linksys ever intended.
Unfortunately, it is a version 5.1 model, with a reduced amount of flash memory, and the only alternative firmware that will fit is the micro edition of DD-WRT.
Unfortunately (again) until August, there was a critical security issue which meant that a nasty website can run any command they like on it.
If you're also running DD-WRT and haven't updated it recently, you need to do so... I've just noticed somewhere with an attack designed to exploit this.
