I can remember buying Scotland Yard. It was in a charity shop, somewhere in Wiltshire, about a decade ago. I can even remember where the pile of games was in the shop, and counting the components to ensure it was complete.

What I don't know is where it is now... Not in my room, not in JA's room (certainly - everything came out recently as part of redecorating / re-carpeting / replacing the wardrobe with one that can cope with giant clothes), not in the living room, nowhere obvious in L17's room (there is one place more to look). Loft? Probably not. Hmm..

I saw one recently. Also should be getting mine in the next installment of boxes from my parents.

A remarkably good game for people who like games. It was most disappointing when I was a kid that all my friends were too thick to play it properly (or as my adult self would realise, unfamiliar with how games work and uninterested in learning or couldn't manage to...) and my parents rarely would.
