Stupid piece. We're not all sheep, and some of us are quite capable of making our own decisions. I've had two iPhones across the past four years, or possibly five, and have found nothing whatsoever in the way they work to put me off. And I've just ordered a new one.

Locked up battery, no expansion slot, the lock in. Any one of these would be enough to make me say no to one, no matter how shiny other bits are.

I'll admit the Stephen Fry bit is silly (but it would be fascinating what passes between him and Apple..)
