Well, they all have a film connection...

Steve Biko's life - The film "Cry Freedom"
"Apocalypse Now" being a film itself
"Flowers for Algernon" - Film "Charlie".

The latter 2 might have been released in the same year, perhaps (rummaging for Haliwell's)... Short of doing a www search, I can't think. Am I anywhere close?
