My first 1G hard drive

Tidying up the flat, I came across the receipt for my 1G hard drive. Bought in 1994, it could be made to appear as two 512M drives as lots of PCs wouldn't accept anything larger than 512M existed. It still works.

In 1992, my employers bought a gigantic 400MB drive for £400, and the whole office used it. So then £1 = 1MB roughly.

We're now around the £1 = 1GB mark. Ten years. That's rather faster than Moore's Law would predict. Hmm, I might change my guess...
