lovingboth.. was the Poundland version of Toblerone, subject to a legal dispute that ran through much of last year. Originally, the main difference was to have two bumps on top of each segment and claim that it was 'inspired by the Wrekin and Ercall hills'. Yeah, yeah.
They were forced to change the colour of the packaging from distinctly Tolberone-y gold to turquoise and yellow, and were allowed to sell half a million of them.
As Poundland sell the disgracefully reduced 150g Toblerones for a quid anyway, the point was that it had 180g of chocolate, nougat and honey - 10g more than the old Toblerone size.
If Newark Poundland ever had any of the clone, I didn't spot them, but the one in Grantham did have a handful left when I needed to take JA to school one day in mid-December, so I bought one.
Verdit: while I like the idea of having more for the same price, it doesn't help if it's not as good. The texture is not quite there, partly because of having more almonds, and this along with a different mix of sugars - more - also affects the taste.
