Ohhhh, Jeremy Hardy

Like many people I was very sad to hear of the death of Jeremy Hardy. Going to the Edinburgh Fringe for most of the 80s meant I'd seen him before he won the Perrier towards the end of the decade. He obviously got older, but the 'polite class war' aspects of his act never changed.

I'm having navigating a double negative problems parsing this! On my account, if i'm in HTML mode, the "disable auto-formatting" box defaults to not being ticked (so it's auto-formatting unless i tell it not to) - is that what you want or the opposite of what you want?

Here, it defaults to being ticked. Which is not what I want.

Except that when I just try it, it's not ticked.

I think it defaults to what you last used to post (the HTML/rich text mode certainly does). But sometimes it just randomly resets for unknown computers-being-computers reasons
