Watched, on TV and my mind

The Sister on ITV was interesting, even if I couldn't help commentating on the lighting - someone clearly wanted lots of CONTRAST CONTRAST CONTRAST in all the shots. This means we have a couple where she's got lots of photos of her beloved missing sister on the wall, which she can't see because the walls are so dim even with the lights on. And plenty of scenes with the characters standing silhouetted against the sun. It's all rather reminiscent of some of the classic Italian gaillo films* visually...
Some of the plot points were obvious before they happened, but there was less to insult the intelligence and clunky foretelling than usual.
Last night's Covid dream involved having two big toes on each of my feet (still only two of those...) one on the 'wrong side' for that foot and one in the middle.
* Typical plot: a murderer kills several semi-clad women in ways that are more stylish than practical, while we only see their gloved hands. At the end, they're revealed to be the writer investigating the murders / one of the characters presumed dead from the start / both.
