Yep, Shockheaded Peter - complete with the Tiger Lillies - is coming back to the Lyric Hammersmith over Easter next year, for just over two weeks.

It is the best theatre show I have ever seen, "just a little bit different".

Because the prats who designed the site used frames (and didn't provide a noframes options), I can't give a direct link, but visit http://www.lyric.co.uk - what's on - and select SHP from the theatre picklist. Then buy some tickets.

I didn't do a 'all the shows I've seen' list, mostly because I've seen over a thousand. (Until Jo Anna was born, I went to the theatre/opera at least once a week, often more. Throw in a few visits to the Edinburgh Fringe with five or more shows a day, and it adds up!)

And of all of those shows, this is the best and most original.

I'm aware that not everyone appreciates it to the same extent, of course, but I'm not the only one who's seen it more than ten times since its first run five years ago.

There were meant to be five different (from each other) productions in Germany at one point. Perhaps some of them are still going.
