Must be a new meaning to the word 'dominate'...

Congratulations to the LibDem campaign which resulted in the first ethnic minority MP for the party since Dadabhai Naoroji in 1892.

[The spell checker wants to replace 'Patricia' with 'Patrician', which is probably apt for someone who used to be a radical.]

She sold her soul when - after years of good work in the civil liberties pressure group sector - she was Kinnock's press secretary and the author of the 'don't be seen to be nice to queers, as it's "costing us dear amongst the pensioners"' letter to him back in the 1980s.

She did say they'd dominated the campaign, rather than the voting. In a way that's worse, because it must therefore have been the policies or the candidate that people didn't go for.

Or the party nationally, of course.
