Well, the UPS works

We (and looking out of the window, a big chunk of SE London) had a power cut just after quarter to eight this morning for about ten minutes.

Hmm, if only the power lead for the xDSL modem would reach it too... :)

Adobe buys Macromedia

.. not in itself a big surprise - PageMill and the Adobe Flash clone whose name escapes me (Scalable Vector Format?) have never come close to the success of Dreamweaver and Flash.

But $3.4 billion???

Come on, even in your own shares, that's way too much.
