Another day, another scam call
Jan. 4th, 2021 12:58 pmThis time, it's BT who want to close the account (that I haven't got) because of hacking associated with it. Press one etc etc.
I particularly liked the way the nice person on the other end said it wasn't me who was doing it - it was a neighbour accessing my wifi via the router's poor security! I may have also noticed [insert list of usual internet connection complaints] happening.
Again, they hung up before getting to the actual scam bits.
I should probably try being more gullible, rather than going 'cut to the chase, we both know you're not really from BT...'
