The falsehood there, of course, lies in the source of the money. The $400 million is Microshaft's, awarded according to the will of the directors as a group, while the $100 million is essentially his own money.

True, and that's acknowledged in the article, but given the size of his shareholding about $40m is his personal money too.

And I think that $421m is just in India - I wonder what the worldwide spend is.
