Amusingly, the Kiwis on the other side of the table were too busy photographing the view to the west to notice the cathedral and castle to the east. I did try to tell them...

It would be lovely, but I don't think we're going to have time to get to Durham this trip. If JA had her way, we'd be at Wet'n'Wild every day!
