Amazon App Store program for Android

Has anyone managed to install this? It's large and force closed each time I tried to run it, so I just deleted it.

But the idea sounds good...

It doesn't, I don't know why it is that big.

I believe my phone has 'ice cream sandwich' which is a few versions along the road from your's. I just wondered if that was the reason it crashed all the time on your's? I know on my old phone (HTC hero) the apps started to not work so well by the time I upgraded as they were being updated all the time, but I had never updated the operating system.

I agree it should say what it works on best though.

They have possibly issued another version since I tried it. It will now run. Some of it will even move to the SD card.

However, it is currently wanting to store 5.9Mb of data?!? WTF? Google Play Store (and I still think that's a stupid name..) copes with 112kb. Opera Mini, with eight tabs open and a big browsing history, 1.86Mb. GMail 1.68Mb. Etc, etc, etc.

I can see me running it once a day, seeing which developer is being told to bend over today, then deleting the data.
