Very interestingly, he doesn't sound the same when doing general reporting about the incident. I wonder if he realises he's doing it or, indeed, if it's deliberate.
Wow, that was cryptic. Who doesn't sound the same on BBC radio 2? What incident is he reporting?
And why aren't you on LJ any more? What evil?
Also, I don't know if you know this but the captcha "prove you're human" thingy down here says "What is eighty five thousand five hundred and thirty four as digits?" That is probably not just keeping robots away but young children too. It's like a maturity checker. I know some children entering secondary school STILL don't seem able to work out a question like that. (Though admittedly that is rather sad.) I found that quite an interesting thought. Anyway...
See earlier post (if you can, i.e. I got my 'who can read this' right) - there's a BBC radio reporter who's been on R4 news sounding just like Chris Morris in The Day Today while interviewing survivors of the Nairobi outrage. I've since heard him talking generally about it, and he sounds distinctly different.
DW is just better than LJ in lots of ways, but because not everyone has jumped ship, my posts are (or should be...) cross-posted to LJ.
