I've just put the map away! France, Scotland and the Isle of Man are roughly equidistant from here.

Date: 2015-08-21 01:46 am (UTC)I wish the kitchen here had a mixer tap.. still, the hot takes just long enough to get going that I'm usually fine just running that, given I'm usually only washing up a single plate, knife, and fork, or similar, and if it does get hot, I simply scrub with the scouring sponge in one spot, and rinse another, cycling around.
Are bidets ever present in the UK? Though, I did notice the existence of a "shower toilet" the other day, which is apparently a sort of combo toilet/bidet. We live in exciting times!
