The only two series I'm watching on TV

The current - and last - series of Peep Show is fabulous.

My previous favourite episode was s3e1 (the one with the mugging and the worst threesome ever) but the second and third episodes of this series have topped that. It's the descent into awfulness that I like: each step down the slope is at least vaguely sensible.

Fargo is also proving to be excellent.

I should perhaps get into Peep Show? ^_^ I'm vaguely aware it has a pedigree, but I just have such a difficult time actually adding anything to my "watched series" list, knowing how slowly I get through any "new" TV - and for sheer awfulness, it's currently difficult to top the antics of the Republican hopefuls. But, perhaps you covered that in your csaveat. ^_^;
