Today programme Listeners' Law update
Jan. 1st, 2004 09:35 amThe rabid ones won - 37% of the vote.
Still, it's going to be fun hearing the presenters report on the progress of a bill they clearly don't believe in.

In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if the changes were to cause howls of protest from the people who proposed the bill in the first place. This one could run and run.

Interestingly I looked at the website soon after the poll closed and it was showing that #3 was leading with 35% of the vote and #5 (the rapid one) was 2nd or 3rd with around 25%. Unless the poll was badly out of date at that stage this suggest that the "rabid tendency" had mostly pitched in on the separate telephone poll which presumably wasn't being logged on-line.
Or has someone better information?
